Mil•lenni Festival: great music variety in some amazingly intimate settings

By | 22 October, 2019 | 0 comments

The huge variety of musical styles and intimate venues are what make Barcelona’s Mil·lenni Festival one of the most highly anticipated and enjoyed music events of the year. Gran Teatre del Liceu, Palau de la Música and Casino l’Aliança del Poblenou are set to be the stages where the festival’s concerts take place, alongside the ever-popular Barts, Bikini, Apolo and Razzmatazz.

Mil lenni Barcelona

The 21 edition of the Mil·lenni Festival will take place from 24 November 2019 until 25 March 2020. The festival will last a full six months, meaning you can enjoy great live music from nationally and internationally acclaimed artists in a huge variety of styles, from the rock sounds of Cataluña’s own Gossos, the mix of folk and soul of British singer Michael Kiwanuka, the flamenco sensuality of Miguel Poveda, the Celtic chords of Galicia’s Carlos Núñez, as well as the indie beats of Ireland’s The Divine Comedy, among plenty of others… A wide variety of music for the most varied audiences!

Mil·lenni Festival escapes the traditional festival setup and goes for something a lot more intimate. These carefully chosen, small capacity venues mean artists can connect and establish personal connections with their audiences, where only the quality of their sound really matters.
