(English) Ferrari Land: an essential visit for Ferrari lovers

By | 14 November, 2017 | 0 comments

Ferrari Land has finally opened its doors! The most eagerly awaited event for lovers of all things Ferrari has finally become a reality. PortAventura and Ferrari have teamed up to offer this great entertainment complex in Catalonia.

Ferrari Land

The vision of Piero Ferrari, son of the legendary Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari Land presents itself as the first and only park in Europe dedicated to the famous prancing horse brand.

Innovations and firsts at Ferrari Land

Inspired by the adrenalin of Formula 1, this park has been created so that people of all ages can enjoy the innovative attractions that make up the complex.

The site’s main attraction is Red Force, the highest roller coaster in Europe. A vertical climb going from 0 km/h to 180 km/h in just 5 seconds, followed by a 90 degree fall and a 112 metre propulsion where you’ll experience forces of up to 4G.

And if that wasn’t enough, they’ve added two free-fall towers to this great ride. Vertical towers where you’ll plunge 55 metres on propelled launches, up and down, up and down!

Would you like to become a Formula 1 driver for the day? Ferrari Land can make your dreams come true, with 8 simulators, two of them built specially for children. The simulators are identical to those used by professional drivers during their training, making use of cutting-edge technology.

How to get there and where to stay at Ferrari Land

As we mentioned earlier, Ferrari Land is located at PortAventura Park, on Avenida Pere Molas, km 2, 43840 Vila-seca, Tarragona. It’s less than an hour by car from Barcelona but you can also take the train or bus. Another option, if you’re in the Amposta area, is to stay at HCC Montsia, which is less than a 45 minute drive away.

Entry to the whole park, PortAventura as well as Ferrari Land, starts at 60 euros and there are packages that include transfers from Barcelona as well as the entry fee.

HCC Hotels is proud to offer you all of our hotels for your visit to Ferrari Land. At hotel reception, we can tell you all about the best options for enjoying this fantastic amusement park.
