Winter sports, fun and healthy

That’s right, in winter, we can even make sports fun. One of the activities seeing a real upsurge in recent years is ice skating.Make the most of a truly special afternoon by lacing up your ice skates, it’s a genuinely unique experience.

There are two ice rinks for you to try, with a rink at FC Barcelona’s football stadium, where some of the city’s hockey teams and professional skateboarders even train, as well as the Club Skating Track, which offers fast-track lessons for beginners, so you can get the most out of your day.

Take advantage of exploring each and every corner of Barcelona with a good urban hiking route, taking in all the city’s best museums. Barcelona offers plenty of opportunities for museum visits across a wide range of subjects, all you have to do is choose the exhibits that most appeal to you.

The Picasso Museum is one of the most popular, housing more than 4,000 of the artist’s works. If you like the art and culture of Picasso, you won’t want to miss out.

For history buffs and fans of the Egyptian era, the Egyptian Museum explores the life and times of the civilisations of ancient Egypt across its more than 2,000 square metres of exhibition space.

If you’re looking to do something a little different, then visit the Museum of Magic. As well as a vast exhibition on the art of illusion, they also organise classes and live magic shows.

If you’re someone who likes to pamper themselves every now and then, we recommendindulging inan afternoon of spa treatments followed by an evening of wonderful local dining. There’s a wide variety of urban spas where you can enjoy massages, thermal treatments, relaxation techniques, and much more. After taking care of yourself at the spa, head down for dinner, sampling some typically authentic Catalan dishes.
