Tourist attractions near the Hotel HCC St Moritz
Just a 4 minute walk from HCC St Moritz, you’ll find Casa Batlló, one of Barcelona’s most famous modernist buildings and another of Gaudí’s masterpieces officially declared a World Heritage Site in 2005. Make no mistake, a visit to Casa Batlló is the perfect way to get up close and personal with one of history’s most celebrated architects. What’s more, a new tour is available to help visitors discover this world-famous attraction safely using the latest technology and real-time information.
Casa Batlló also offers another type of experience altogether, as part of a series of tours known as Noches Mágicas, or Magical Nights. On select evenings, besides visiting the building itself, you can also enjoy concerts and jazz, flamenco and soul musical performances, among others, on the building’s spectacular roof terrace.
Casa Batlló is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Visits usually last around an hour, meaning last entry is at 17:00. Tickets can be purchased through the website.
Similarly, La Pedrera-Casa Milà, perhaps Gaudí’s best known masterpiece, is located just 800 metres from the Hotel HCC St Moritz. From 15 July, this symbolic Barcelona tourist attraction will reopen its doors to tourists, whilst closely following all the required rules and safety measures to keep everyone safe. Furthermore, just like Casa Batlló, La Pedrera will also be offering a range of events to make your experience even more enriching, such as concerts, theatre performances and talks.
You can visit from Monday to Sunday between 09:00 and 20:30, as well as between 21:00 and 23:00 for night events. Tickets can be purchased online, with the added bonus of free changes if you need to alter your dates or times closer to the event, as well as full refunds if you can’t attend after all.
Another cornerstone of any visit to Barcelona is La Sagrada Familia. One of the most famous, enchanting places in the entire city that you simply cannot afford to miss. The streets surrounding La Sagrada Familia offer amazing views of all the building’s unique façades, which are sure to take your breath away. To access the inside of the building, simply visit the official website where you can see constantly updated information on opening hours and tickets to facilitate safe access to this Barcelona landmark.
