Relive marine history from the Zona Franca at the Fira Marinera
Parades, music, dancing and great food will take over Paseo de la Zona Franca on April 30th to celebrate the festival that commemorates the last sailor of the neighbourhood. The fair will begin at 9.00am with the parades and builds up with the rhythm of zumba to 11.00am with a salted fish workshop and demonstrations on traditional fishing techniques. There’s nothing better than a stroll through 65 stalls to get to know the traditional trade of the city and enjoy dishes and typical products from the time that can be enjoyed alongside dance displays. The most exotic touch will arrive at 5.15pm from the Montjüic folk group with their Havana songs and rum tasting. Velvet Candles Doo Wop will bring the party to a close.
