Vueling Cursa Bombers returns

After a year without being able to go ahead due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on 24 October 2021, the Barcelona Vueling Cursa Bombers race returns so you can enjoy running through Barcelona with some of the city’s firefighters. This is one of the most popular 10k races in the city, so don’t hesitate to sign up for this year’s 22nd edition.

The 2022 Barcelona Marathon

The 42nd edition of the Zurich Marató de Barcelona is back on 7 November 2021, full of new highlights on a route that takes in some of the city’s most wonderful spots, including Camp Nou, Casa Batlló, the Sagrada Familia, Agbar Tower, Arc de Triomf and even Plaza España. As such, this race takes in the urban heart of the city and is one of the most stunning itineraries in the world, allowing you to soak up all the charms of this spectacular destination while forcing you to look up and take note of every detail around you.

The race begins at 08:30 in the morning from Avenida María Cristina in Barcelona and the course is open for up to 6 hours. It’s a very welcoming and family-oriented event, so we recommend taking friends and family along to this popular city race. What’s more, you’ll be able to enjoy a range of side activities, including the Sports Expo, the Breakfast Run, the Kids Race, Pasta Party and more.

Barcelona’s  Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race

Created to honour women around the world and promote the fight against cancer, this year, Leche Asturiana is organising races across Spain, including Barcelona’s women’s race on 21 November. The VIII Women’s Race is the biggest women’s sporting event in Europe, made even more special this year, so don’t miss out on the chance to take part or go along and show your support.
