(English) Motoh, the unmissable event for all you fans of life on two-wheels
Barcelona has more motorcycles and scooters per head than any other European city, with the great climate and easy terrain making it the perfect place for exploring on two wheels. But all the city’s lovers of motorcycles, scooters and bikes have been left wanting in recent years, with the last edition of the world-famous Motoh Exhibition taking place way back in 2008. A few years on now, finally the Motoh Exhibition is returning to the city with fully charged batteries for an event that promises to feature world-leading manufacturers and combine mobility, leisure and industry expertise to go bigger and better than ever before.
After eight years of quiet, finally, the engines will once again roar at Fira de Barcelona Exhibition Centre. The famous exhibition and conference centre in Montjüic is preparing to host the new Motoh Exhibition between 4 and 7 April. Huge anticipation surrounds this prestigious upcoming event, especially given fans of motorcycling lost one of their biggest European industry exhibitions after the disappearance of Motoh Barcelona in 2008. Now, the three-day exhibition is being organised in collaboration with Anesdor (Spain’s National Association of Motorcycle Companies) and will take place annually from now on.
Up to 15,000 visitors are expected to attend the Motoh exhibition to see all the latest developments from leading manufacturers, including BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha, and many more. What’s more, this year’s event will also showcase distributors and importers not just of motorcycles, but also mopeds, scooters and quad bikes. There will be also be a range of dedicated spaces for clothing and equipment brands.
Professional riders will offer demonstrations and acceleration tests will be shown live on the trial circuits to the delight of fans. Those who prefer to feel the rush themselves can also enjoy the experience zone, where simulators will be available for you to experience the amazing sensation of riding a motorcycle at top speed. And not forgetting all the spaces dedicated to training and road safety, which you’ll find in the aptly named MotohAcademy area.
This is an exhibition of the highest order that will once again win over the hearts and minds of all those who love a ride on two wheels. At HCC Hotels, we can offer you the very best prices at our hotels located in the heart of the city.
