Your safety is our number one priority! Special Covid-19 cleaning procedures in place at HCC Hotels
Covid-19 related cleaning has become a key concern for HCC Hotels and all our properties. The safety of our guests and employees always comes first, that’s why safeguarding their health is our number one priority. As such, new health and safety protocols, as well as a range of special measures we’ve adopted, have been introduced and strengthened in order to guarantee a safe stay in all our locations.
All these measures are based on the health and safety guidelines and recommendations set out by the Spanish government to reduce the spread of coronavirus as we transition into a new normal. Want to know more about the special cleaning procedures introduced at HCC Hotels? In today’s post, we’re going to explain a little more about how the new rules will work in all our properties.
Intense cleaning
The first change we made at HCC Hotels was to introduce more cleaning and disinfecting of rooms and public areas, meaning all parts of our hotels people may pass through during the day, including access roads, lounges, lifts, cafés, dining rooms, and so on.
Cleaning – now more than ever – is one of the most important and vital aspects of the day-to-day running of our hotels. In this sense, in addition to thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all furniture and spaces, ventilation – which now takes place even more frequently – is also a fundamental part of guaranteeing our hotels are safe places to be. It’s also important to note that in all public areas there will be alcoholic hand gel stations available to all customers and employees.
Reduced capacities
Although we’re gradually moving back towards normality step-by-step, it remains the case that avoiding crowds and busy places is the best way to stay safe for now. That’s why one of the special measures introduced by HCC Hotels is to reduce capacity across all our hotels. The purpose of this measure is to guarantee safe social distancing can be maintained between individuals on site, especially in the public areas mentioned above.
Staff training and equipment
HCC Hotels employees are fully aware of the importance of our new cleaning regulations that guarantee their health and wellbeing at work. That’s why every department across all our hotels has been given special training on how to operate whilst guaranteeing the maximum levels of health and safety. Furthermore, personal protective equipment (PPE) has been provided to all members of staff, making sure they’re safe and well in the workplace.
Constantly adapting and updating our procedures
In these uncertain times, HCC Hotels is aware the situation is constantly changing. As such, our new health and safety protocols are liable to be updated at any time, as we all adapt to new cleaning measures the government may require as the situation unfolds.
Of course, common sense and individual responsibility are fundamental aspects on which all our protocols and special measures depend. That’s why getting back to normal as soon as possible really is in all our hands.
