The deafening sound of the super cars and the smell of burnt rubber will thrill fans, who will delight in sharing the spotlight with a number of other big names appearing at the event. Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastián Vettel and Carlos Sainz are just some of the stars who will take to the Montmeló circuit. With just two Grand Prix events taking place so far, all bets are open and Montmeló will be a key date for starting to put some distance between teams and climbing the ranks.

With a capacity to accommodate more than 130,000 spectators, the stands at the Barcelona-Cataluña circuit are expected to be packed out for this major event in the calendar for all car and F1 enthusiasts. But the Spanish Grand Prix is much more than just a sporting event, as Formula 1 becomes a social event in its own right across Cataluña and Spain as a whole. An opportunity to show off the excellent destination that is Barcelona, and its ability to host events of global importance.

Barcelona, located just 30 kilometres from Montmeló, will be the base and meeting point for thousands of fans, especially French, German, British and Italian enthusiasts all travelling to Barcelona to see Formula 1 up close and personal. And let’s not forget that the Spanish Grand Prix will be the first since 2016 to play out on European soil, where excitement about seeing a Formula 1 event live will reach fever pitch.
